BEN AFFLECK DIRECTS, STARS IN NETFLIX KIDNAPPING THRILLER 'ANIMALS' COMING THIS OCTOBER

There's been some buzz about "Verity" going back to April, and that buzz is only going to grow after a new preview was released this week.

It appears the film will be a dark and very sinister psychological thriller that peels back many layers of deception and secrets.

There's also some.......content not appropriate for younger viewers! I have a feeling "Verity" absolutely earned its R-rating.

Give the preview a watch below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

What do we all think about the preview? If the goal was to go viral and stir up some attention, then I think the mission was accomplished.

The cast is also stacked. Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett are an outstanding lineup. Hartnett is also having himself a year.

His new Netflix limited series "Below" comes out on Oct. 8. Lots of positive momentum for the veteran star.

Overall, the premise is fascinating, the trailer is great and the buzz will only continue to get louder and louder.

You can catch "Verity" in theaters starting October 2nd. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
